Jam Mariquit is appointed Head of Talent Market Intelligence, Tal-os Asia to spearhead the sales and business activities of the talent market research solution business. Jam brings over 15 years of working experience and knowledge in the intelligence research arena.

Jam was previously the founder and managing director of ExplorAsia, a market & competitive intelligence research company focusing in the Asia Pacific region. In 2006, he also established an outsourced service called GBRS which provides global business research support across industries, markets and organisations..

Prior to these ventures, Jam worked for the business consulting division of Synovate, based in Hong Kong from 2000 to 2002.

For 10 years, he has served in various capacities including an air force intelligence officer, competitive intelligence manager, VP for strategy management and Asia Pacific regional director for intelligence research. He has been directly involved in over 200 research projects in Asia and around the world.

Jam holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management in 1997 and joined them last year as an Adjunct Professor of Enterprise Development. He has been an active member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) since 2000 and is a knowledge champion around Asia, speaking at conferences, seminars and workshops in the region where he has trained over 2000 senior business executives.
