Hong Kong; 3rd January 2007 –Tal-os Asia, a leading Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) Company in Asia, has appointed Erica Perry Briody to head up its operations in Asia with an emphasis on Business Development. Briody will be responsible for strategic overview and management, sales and marketing, to capture business opportunities in today’s rapidly expanding HRO trend.

Tal-os Asia was established to deliver world-class employee acquisition solutions such as RPO, Response Management, Resourcing Diagnostic, Assessments, Employer Branding, Training and Development to MNCs and Chinese enterprises that are facing HR challenges in today’s hot talent market. Whilst RPO is a matured offering in the West, it is still in the infancy stage in Asia.

Tony Dickel, Chairman, Tal-os Asia Limited believes that the potential from RPO in Asia, particularly in China is tremendous. “China’s massive growth, coupled with huge talent shortfalls in certain sectors are imposing tremendous pressure on organisations operating in the PRC. These challenges are best met by outsourcing part of, or the entire hiring process to a third-party to enjoy lower hiring costs, higher productivity and business efficiency.”

Erica Perry Briody was previously working in MRI China Group.  She joined MRI China Group as the Head of Performance Development for Asia which she was responsible for creating an induction program for new hires and a “Career Track” program for consultants. In that capacity, she delivered desk audits for over 100 employees across Asia.

Promoted to Managing Director of MRI Hong Kong Office subsequently, she was responsible for key accounts, business revenue, contract negotiations, P&L, staff recruitment and training. Erica created a part time program for executive women with young children looking to get back into the workforce. Under her leadership, MRI Hong Kong Office was the top performing office in Asia in 2006.
