Hong Kong; 13th August 2008 –Tal-os Asia, a leading Talent Acquisition and Management solutions firm today announced the appointment of Tina Pilla as the Sales Director of the company. Pilla will report to Tony Dickel, Chairman, Tal-os Asia and will be responsible for growing the company’s flagship RPO business particularly with Fortune 500 companies and Forbes 1000 companies.
Pilla has accumulated over 10 years recruitment experience and was most recently the General Manager for Greythorn Recruitment, based in Sydney, Australia, managing six divisions of 65 consultants.
Prior to that, Pilla was the National Operations Manager with Hudson Recruitment, based in Auckland, New Zealand overseeing three regional offices in Hamilton, Christchurch and Wellington. During her tenure, she was instrumental in implementing a “Sales Training Programme” that eventually resulted in the offices over-achieving their target performances by 35%.
Pilla relocated to Auckland in February 2006 from Hudson in California where she was the Regional Manager starting 2002. She surpassed the goals and objectives of the geographical markets as set by the Executive Vice President. Before her promotion, Pilla was the National Business Development Manager since 2000. She was responsible for getting Hudson Global accredited with many IT vendors such as E*TRADE, BEA Systems, T-Mobile, Cingular Nextel, Warner Brothers, Fox Studios and NBC.
“The RPO business is expanding rapidly in Asia and we are enhancing our business structure to provide our clients with the appropriate consultancy and services such as large scale recruitment, project management, training and assessments and market research,” states Dickel. “Tina brings with her a wealth of management, sales and training expertise to Tal-os. Pilla began her career in the recruitment industry as a Branch Manager with Hudson in Florida in 1997, increasing sales and clients during her three year tenure.
She graduated with a HR degree from UCLA, California, USA.
