What is it?
This resourcing diagnostic was developed by our partners in the UK, BNB
Group and Chandler Macleod in Australia. It has since been adopted
within Australia and Asia. Several ‘blue chip’ organisations have
adopted this methodology to review, realign and evaluate their
recruitment strategies to meet the challenges faced with today’s
growing competition for talent.
Tal-os Consultants will meet with stakeholders to participate in an
interview about your recruitment processes, to obtain a greater
understanding of the broader issues of talent management facing your
business. We will then make recommendations on short and long term
solutions.
How we do it?
Our approach is to focus precisely on each component of the end-to-end
recruitment process. We undertake in-depth interviews with key
stakeholders, which is why we will be talking to you.
In each 1-hour session we are looking for your contribution to find out
what you know. We are certainly not questioning what is right or wrong,
or who is to blame historically. We are highly respectful of the
expertise that already exists within the business and we are looking to
generate feedback on existing intellectual property.
What are we doing?
We are concerned with building on your current recruitment position,
accepting of the current capabilities, as well as creating focus,
clarity and direction. We want to create a common understanding for you
thereby enabling you to introduce sufficient foresight to maintain a
strong momentum and potential for competitive advantage well into the
future.
The scope of our diagnostic will uncover the key elements of your
recruitment business strategy, your resourcing plans for the coming 12
months and who is accountable for your recruitment strategy. Next, we
will obtain a full picture of your organisation, uncovering how
existing internal recruitment is supported, a profile of your current
function and how HR, Resources and Line Management engage.
What are we not doing?
We are not trying to trip people up in any questioning either with
regard to current strategy, actions or those decisions already made. We
are not attempting to add to confusion or complexity within the
organization or team. We are not trying to sell some service or
pre-determined solution. |

What is the Output?
Following our meetings, we will try to understand some of the
challenges that your business currently faces with regard to
Recruitment.
We will capture the key issues and analyse their impact. The report
generated will recommend a series of options for discussion to allow
your organisation to reaffirm your recruitment strategy for improved
talent management, greater employee retention and thereby improved
Business Performance. |
